Recently, a couple of fan sites published rumors that T-Mobile is going to begin testing their UMA/GAN-based Wi-Fi Calling service on Android devices. We already know some individual manufacturers are adding it to devices. RIM has been doing it with popular BlackBerries for some time now.

 

But the ideal solution would be for Google to embed UMA/GAN natively in the Android operating system. And some fans are stating their compelling arguments on this Google Code page.
